I have always had a hair up my ass about investing. With my recent tax return I decided to finally start doing it. I decided to invest $500 of it and I split it up between two different companies. I put $400 in Hain Celestial Group Inc and the remainder in Galaxy Nutritional Foods. I felt it important to invest in companies who were in the natural foods buissness. I realise that they are not 100% vegan, but since they have a product line that includes vegan items and are not huge food corperatoins who sell death first and have natural, organic, and veg*n items as an afterthought I would invest in these companies.

Hain owns the following brands:

Celestial Seasonings®, Terra Chips®, Garden of Eatin’®, Health Valley®, WestSoy®, Earth’s Best®, Arrowhead Mills®, DeBoles®, FreeBird™, Hain Pure Foods®, Hollywood®, Spectrum Naturals®, Spectrum Essentials®, Walnut Acres Organic™, Imagine Foods®, Rice Dream®, Soy Dream®, Rosetto®, Ethnic Gourmet®, Yves Veggie Cuisine®, Lima®, Grains Noirs®, Natumi®, JASON®, Zia® Natural Skincare, Queen Helene®, Batherapy® and Footherapy®.

And Galaxy makes vegetarian and vegan cheese alternitives including the vegan parmasian that is so tasty.

I use a lot of the brands that Hain owns, so I see it as an investment on products I want to keep around, and if I do well, and make money it is like I am making the money back I spent buying the products in the first place.

Do you invest in natural or veg*n companies? Have you thought about it? If so, then hit that comments link and let me know. I want to know who else to invest in.
