  Celebrities Kate Bush -

From my blog entry:

... Kate Bush has a new CD out! It is called Ariel. RR.com had a video of the new single "King of the Mountain". I was on the site looking up other info helping one of the reps, and it didn't quite hit me until I looked and put two and two together, then I went to Amazon and lo and behold! So this day is starting out fucking positive! I am going to have to buy the new cd for sure. I hope Kate Bush tours. I will deffinately go, I don't care how much it will cost, and I will buy the shirt to go along with it too. ...

Isn't that exciting?

Ok, it is for me. And I am posting it here because she is a veggie and it has been 12 years since her last release and it is good and I am excited!

Celebrities Veggie Heather: Diet may help cure

source: Daily Mail
Heather Mills McCartney claims a vegetarian diet may help cure cancer.

The former model has joined husband Sir Paul in extolling the virtues of a meat-free lifestyle. She became a vegetarian after losing a leg in a motorcycle accident 12 years ago.

The wound became infected and she was in danger of undergoing further amputation, she said, until she cut meat and fish from her diet.

In an article for London's Evening Standard, Mills McCartney wrote: "As I watched more and more of my leg disappear, I decided to discharge myself from hospital.

"A girlfriend of mine had breast cancer. Although not scientifically proven, she believed she went into remission after following a vegetarian programme at America's Hippocrates centre in West Palm Beach, Florida.

Celebrities Sharpton joins PETA in boycott of KFC

Source: NEW YORK TIMES NEWS SERVICE

The Rev. Al Sharpton won't eat at KFC, and he doesn't think you should, either.

Starting yesterday, Sharpton was joining forces with the animal activist group People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals to urge a boycott of KFC, which is owned by Yum Brands of Louisville. Sharpton and PETA want the fast food chain to require its chicken suppliers to put in place more humane standards for the 750 million chickens they process for KFC every year in the United States. The rap mogul Russell Simmons is joining the Sharpton campaign.

Celebrities Campaigner takes up Babes in arms

Scott Murdoch

JAMES Cromwell has a pig from the past to thank for his present fame, but now he's hoping, in the future, he can help the porky creatures.

Cromwell, an Academy Award nominee for his role in the 1995 successful film Babe, is the new face of lobby group Animals Australia, and fronts its campaign to improve the conditions in piggeries across the country. The organisation is also involved in a federal government review of animal treatment codes and hopes to bring about drastic change.
